Hi! In this topic, we are going to setup about Benefit In Kind setting. Benefit in kind refers to the benefit your company is able to give to your employees be it in physical or monetary form. Let's get it set up.

Click on Settings -> expand the right menu and click on "Benefit In Kind". You'll be greeted with the page shown above.

There will be 3 tabs namely:

1. Benefit in Kind Item
2. Benefit in Kind Group
3. Benefit in Kind Group Item

There are some benefit in kind already pre-set for you but you're always welcome to add or modify more benefits in kind. Let's go through them one by one.

Benefit In Kind Item

In this tab, we are going to define each benefit in kind item. Click on "Create" to start creating a new item. For the purpose of this tutorial, I'm going to put "Gym" in item code. Click on "Confirm & Create" to save this item

Benefit In Kind Group

In this tab, we are going to define a single benefit in kind group. Click on "Create" to start creating a new group. For the purpose of this tutorial, I'm going to put "Health" in the Group Code. Click on "Confirm & Create" to save this group.

Benefit In Kind Group Item

In this tab, we are going to add ALL of the Benefit In Kind Item into a single Benefit In Kind Group. Hence the tab's name of Benefit In Kind Group Item. Click on "Create" to start creating a new group item. Fill up the fields and check the appropriate checkboxes. Remember Config Account: 2.40 Tax Exemption that we have created a while ago? All of the tax exemptions will now be shown in this tab's Tax Exemption section. Check the appropriate checkboxes and once down, click on the "Confirm & Create" to create the group item.
