Hi and welcome back. Now we are going to set up Payroll Statutory. Payroll Statutory is whereby a company has to pay to the employee's social security or retirement fund. As for now, we only support Malaysia's statutory which is KWSP (Kumpulan Wang Simpanan Pekerja).

Click on Settings -> expand the right menu and click on "Payroll Statutory". You'll be greeted with the page shown above.

As per mentioned, only Malaysia is supported for now. Please proceed to click on the "Edit" button.

A new tab named Payroll Statutory will appear. Do proceed to fill up the fields and click on "Save" at the bottom right of the tab.

KWSP Management

Click on the "Select KWSP Group to view and edit" to open a dropdown. Select the appropriate option. Some fields will appear after the selection and you may edit to fit your organization. Once done, click on the "Save KWSP Settings" button at the bottom right of the tab.

Then, proceed to the "Batch Update KWSP Overwrite" section. This section is OPTIONAL IF certain employees have a different KWSP amount than the norm. First, select the employees to take advantage of the customised KWSP amount. Then, check the "KWSP Overwrite" checkbox and fill up the fields to customise the KWSP amount. Once done, click on the "Batch Update KWSP Overwrite" button to save at the bottom right of the tab.


That's it! The statutory fields are now up and ready! Let's proceed to the next topic! See you there!
