Hello and welcome back! We are going to go through the topic of Travel Request Setting today. Let's start shall we?

Click on Settings -> expand the right menu and click on "Travel Request Settings". You'll be greeted with the page shown above.
There will be 3 tabs namely:
- Travel Request Expense Item
- Travel Request Expense Type
- Travel Request Type
Travel Request Expense Item

This tab is to seperate each expense item. For instance, a "flight departure" item can be added here to allow an employee to request for a travel expense that is a departing flight. Click on the "Create" button to expand these fields. Fill up the fields accordingly. Please do note that the "Travel Request Expense Item Category" is CASE SENSITIVE. If it's not in the same case, they will NOT be grouped together later in the Travel Request Expense Type tab. For an example, I will be adding a "Flight Departure Outwards" and "Flight Departure Inwards" in the same category of "Air Travel". Once done, click on bottom right "Create" button to create.
Travel Request Expense Type

This tab is to categories every item to an expense type. Let's start with the previous 2 examples. I would be creating a "Type Code" of Flight and selecting both Air Travel checkboxes to the expense type. Once done, click on the bottom right "Create" button to create. Do note that if on the earlier tab (Travel Request Expense Item)'s Item Category field has a different case, they will show 2 different "Air Travel" here.
Travel Request Type

In this tab, we will be creating a request type for approvals. You can choose which employees to be the approver. Just click on "Create" and start filling up the fields and check the employee checkboxes. Once done, click on the bottom right's "Create" button to save.
All right. Just a few more to go. Let's continue in the next chapter. See you there!
