Let us help you out with your issues regarding to leave and claim. Let's see each case and their solution.
Case 1:
Problem: Ng Kah Hei was recently transferred internally from Global Chain EU to Global Chain Asia. After the transfer was done, she realised that she was missing an Annual Leave and Sick Claim option in the My Leaves and My Claims page.
Solution: If this happens, usually what was done is that the employee was given a new account upon their transfer and the previous account is set to resigned (no longer in use). You may head over to Settings -> Leave Type -> Leave Group Item section. Then click on the edit button of the Annual Leave in the leave group that the employee was added in. Then, check the checkbox of the employee's name in the Include Employee list. Click on Update to save the changes. Like wise for Claim, head over to Claim Type -> Claim Group Item and check the checkbox of the employee's name in the Include Employee's list.
6/11/23 update: This has been fixed to include the new employee upon creation of the new employee and assigning of employee. Please inform us if the problem of not auto assigning still persists.
Case 2:
Problem: Chun Keat would like to apply for his birthday leave which falls on the 4th November 2023. He tries to apply for his birthday today (2nd November 2023) but an error appears.
Solution: It's a default that birthday leaves are needed to apply 3 days in advance. He needs to apply on the 1st of November 2023 for it to go through. In this case, have 2 options.
- Turn on "Allow Backdate" application and set "Notice of Intent" to "0" (no notice is required) in Settings -> Leave Type -> Leave Group Item. This will allow the employees to apply at any given time even after their birth day has passed.
- Turn on "Bypass Notice of Intent for Emergencies" while keeping the "Allow Backdate" checked. With this option, employees can apply for their leave or use their leave first. If there's an intent (example "3") and your number of days to the leave is less than the intent, then the leave will be categorised as emergency application.
