Ever wonder why we are requesting for certain permission for our app? Let me explain to you.

Location Permission

Why are we requesting: We need access to your location (GPS coordinates) for one of our feature so that it can work as intended.

Where it is used: Timesheet.

Concerns: We explicitly DO NOT store your location (GPS coordinates) at any given time. The only time we do collect and submit your current location (GPS coordinates) is right after you have given your consent for location permission and clicked on the start timesheet (web) or (Check-In) button.

Photos and Files Permission

Why are we requesting: We need access to your photos and files because you may be required to upload photos and/or files to Hex-HR.

Where it is used: News Feed, My Claims, My Leaves, My Documents.

Concerns: We will never access your photos and files at any given moment. We will only access the photos/files that you have selected only at that very moment for it to be uploaded to Hex-HR.

Bluetooth Permission

Why are we requesting: The app requires to locate or be a verifier for the timesheet feature.

Where it is used: Timesheet's Verifier check-in option and/or Verifier feature.

Concerns: We do not store, collect or submit anything to the server. The only use for it is that it locates other device(s) nearby for them to be verified or verify. It does not process any of the information obtained.

Camera Permission

Why are we requesting: The app requires to take a photo to upload a picture for submission.

Where it is used: News Feed, Check-in via QR, My Claims, My Leaves, My Documents.

Concerns: We will never use your camera feature for any other given moments. Your camera is as good as it's turned off outside of those times.
